Ibiza is getting awake again and preparing for the coming season. Everywhere we see buildings getting painted and bars cleaned. The island is getting excited and news of restaurant openings is spreading through the mountains. We know we are all about Ibiza yacht charter and boat hire, yet we always love to explore new places. Even on mainland! We made you a shortlist of 3 new restaurants that we suggest you visit next time you are on the island and be one of the first to try them!
Cotton Lounge Club
After their huge success on Cala Tarida the all white luxury beach concept, Cotton Beach Club, decided to expand with a Cotton Lounge Club on the Figueretas promenade. This two level bar with stunning infinity views is promising to deliver Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch, After Beach, Sunset, Dinner and After hours all in one place! The lounge club will be all white off course and the food and service is expected to be phenomenal again so make sure to try it out!
La Petite Table
This great new restaurant opened in August 2015 in Santa Gertrudis and is definitely worth your visit! Although the name may suggest we are looking at a French cuisine the roots of this restaurant are actually Argentinian and Italian. When you enter this restaurant you will be surrounded by a very relaxing atmosphere that immediately makes you feel comfortable. The food is extremely good. La Petite Table knows the competition in Santa Gertrudis is fierce but they seem to be up to it. I have to admit I made an easy choice when choosing a hamburger for a late lunch. But it was after a beautiful Formentera yacht charter and I was too relaxed to even think straight. The hamburger was ABSOLUTELY delicious though and I don’t have any regret about my choice! While sitting there we saw many other delicious dishes passing by like a Carpaccio of gilt head or a mushroom risotto! I think you got my point by now. When going next time to Santa Gertrudis make sure to say hello to them!
La Belle Ibiza
This French restaurant opened its doors last season in the center of Sant Rafael and made a very good first summer! The French cuisine with Asian influences is promising to surprise you and one of my favourite dishes is the Wagyu beef tataki! The restaurant contains several lounge areas as well and the combination of superb food, sparkling cocktails and chill out areas probably make it one of the best places to relax after an ibiza yacht charter with us 😉 Have a look on their website for the menu and what it is that you would like to try!
